Considering the CAA / NRC Protests Through Posters
The last month has seen hundreds of protests across India against CAA and NRC. In a massive show of public solidarity, these protests have united millions of Indians against oppressive authorities. Posters form an important mode of communication and mobilization, and lend us insights into public sentiment through recurring symbols, figures, and color schemes--the raised fist, calls for resistance and rejection, B.R. Ambedkar. This small project is an attempt to collect some of these posters before they are lost to WhatsApp archives.
